1. Where we stand

FortuneX is a play-money casino today and will be a crypto casino tomorrow. In either form, gambling can stop being a game. The tools below let you set hard limits on your own play before that happens. None of them get in your way during a good session — they only kick in when you've decided they should.

2. Built-in tools

All of these live behind Lobby → Play Responsibly → Tools in the app. They persist on your device.

Daily wager limit

Set a max FX-Coin amount you can wager in a single UTC day. Bets that would push you over are soft-blocked with a toast. Resets at UTC midnight. Set to 0 to disable.

Session reminder

Optional reminder every N minutes you're active in the app. Pops a toast — useful if you tend to lose track of time. 0 = off.

Self-exclusion

Lock yourself out for 1 hour, 24 hours, 7 days, or 30 days. While active, the app rejects every bet attempt regardless of game. Cooldown cannot be reversed once started — by design.

Reality-check stats

Your lifetime stats (wagered, won, profit, RTP achieved) and today's wagered amount are always visible in the lobby. No hidden numbers.

3. Warning signs

Some patterns worth taking seriously, especially as we move to a real-money tier:

• You're spending more time or money than you planned
• You're chasing losses — increasing bet size after losing rounds
• You're playing to escape stress, loneliness, or low mood
• You're hiding play from people who matter to you
• You're borrowing money to play, or skipping bills
• You feel anxious or restless when you're not playing

4. Crypto-tier safeguards (when live)

When the crypto tier launches, additional safeguards become available and several become mandatory under the licence:

• Server-side deposit limits (daily/weekly/monthly) you can lower instantly and raise only after a 72-hour cool-off
• Server-side loss limits with the same asymmetric change rules
• Session-time limits that auto-log-out when reached
• Forced reality-check pop-ups after configurable intervals
• Account self-exclusion across our brand for 6 months, 1 year, 5 years, or permanently — irreversible
• Cross-operator self-exclusion via the licence's shared register (where the regulator operates one)

5. Underage play

FortuneX is 18+ (21 in jurisdictions requiring it). The play-money tier is still casino mechanics — we do not want minors here. Parents: Net Nanny, GamBlock, and BetBlocker are free or low-cost tools that block gambling sites at the device level.

6. We will never

• Push you to deposit more, ever — there is no upsell flow, no "loss-back" bonus, no chasing email
• Target advertising at people who self-excluded
• Offer credit or borrow-to-play features
• Hide our house edge — every game shows it on the bet panel
• Run "VIP host" programs that try to talk you back into play after a break
